Aramasu's Legacy

PS: 7

FH: 2

Limited: Create an additional Attack Phase, during which battle resolution does not destroy defending armies or provinces and does not bow your Mantis Clan Magistrates or your attachments. After it ends, if you won any of its battles (even against no units at resolution), you may target a Personality or Holding, bow it, and negate its straightening until your next Straighten Phase ends.

i don't know how i feel about this SH. it feels like a lot of work for too little payoff. I understand the control aspect, but it still has no battle ability. i could have been just as happy with a "Target your performing Magistrate, or unbowed Personality and target an enemy card with lower gold cost and no attachments: Destroy it." =P

Interesting.

Aramasu's Pride minus the bling plus some flexible control. Not sure it tops free shit but I bet it'll be competative in short order with the right personality support. Yar.

OH MY F******* GOD I AM SOPLEASED WITH THIS I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE IT WITH WORDS

Pride has been my favorite stronghold/deck, like, EVER. So this is sooo awesome!!!

- Has Aramasu on it
- RAID DAMN IT!
- AT LAST a control stronghold for us
- Open a whole new way to play magistrate

Only downside is... HELL NO THERE AREN'T LOL.

i know that it's an old mechanic from diamond? i think i just got out when the raid mechanic popped.

i'm having a hard time seeing the benefit from this card. i know that nowadays most people don't block, but this SH feels like a winmore SH. Am i missing something?

This will play entirely different than KL. I think KL is and likely always will be better, but this should be quite fun to play.

Side Note: I'm very surprised that Mantis first box post EE base is a magistrate box. I would have thought they'd have gone somewhere else considering that the magistrate theme is already good. No complaining, just surprised.
